We used StoryCubes at the recent Making London event as part of a forecasting workshop helping participants explore how to remake and rethink relationships between markets and communities in the city. The cubes were used as the second stage to distill ideas developed collaboratively in the first part of the workshop. By focusing their ideas down on the StoryCubes, the participants were able to use them to compare and contrast what they came up with and then to apply those ideas in a further session, placing them on a large map of the city which was annotated with materials from different workshops held during the day.
